Have you always wondered what your IQ is?
Have you played games online or downloaded an app that tells you it tests your IQ? While these aren't actual IQ tests and are mostly for fun, there are ways to measure IQ through standardized assessments. I can test your IQ to give you a solid idea of your cognitive level, and I offer IQ-only testing with a short report you can take wherever you go.
While cognition fluctuates over the course of our lives, your IQ score stays relatively consistent after adolescence, with some variation (give or take 5 or so points), unless there has been trauma to the brain that can affect cognition (e.g., traumatic brain injury due to blunt force trauma or significant drug use). There are also certain populations that may see a dramatic increase in cognition due to intensive therapeutic interventions (e.g., some individuals on the Autism Spectrum, or those recovering from a TBI).
Optional adaptive skills component
Depending on your situation, IQ-only assessment can be accompanied by an adaptive skills assessment to give a more thorough picture of skill sets - how cognitive ability translates into everyday functioning.
